Key Facts about Remote Instruction and Services through End of School Year
Letter from the Chancellor about Key Facts about Remote Instruction and Services through End of School Year
Please use the following link to create a NYC Schools Account (if you haven’t done so already) for your children. This will give access to resources needed to continue learning as we enter this new phase of remote learning. This account will (soon) be key to access everything you need to know regarding your children’s remote learning.
You will need a code to create the account. You can find your child’s code by:
Locating it on your child’s report card.
Connect by phone with your child’s teacher.
A letter will be sent home containing your child’s code.
If you have any questions or concerns you can get in contact with the P.S. 23X by emailing Ms. Tiffany at TKallman@schools.nyc.gov
Please click above on "Grade Directory" or "Programs" to access the specific work that has been assigned by all of your children's teachers.
Welcome back to the 2019-2020 school year! We hope you had a wonderful and relaxing summer vacation and are ready with your children to begin a new school year!
We look forward toproviding a continuous educational process – Pre-Kindergarten through 5th Grade. On Thursday, September 12th, we will be having our Parent Curriculum Evening (4:30-6:00 p.m. & 6:00-7:30 p.m.) where each grade will be holding their own curriculum meeting, so we can help you help your child this year. You will receive notice soon. We expect that every parent makes the effort to attend!
Your children’s learning progress will be monitored monthly and periodic parent reports will be issued to you. In November, March, and in May, we urge you to attend Parent/Teacher Conferences to discuss your child’s developing progress. We would like to see every parent as we will not send home report cards with the students at these times. We hope you will remain in close contact with your child’s teacher to follow your child’s progress, as well as lending your support to your child throughout the academic year. We encourage your involvement in the school throughout the year!
On behalf of the Staff and myself, we welcome you to the start of a great new school year!
Shirley Torres, Principal
